Abdul Qadir scores 146 runs in Pakistan U-19's win over England U-19
Pakistan's Under-19 cricket team defeated their English counterparts by 122 runs in the second one-day match of the series at Woodbridge Road. Pakistan scored 308 runs in 49 overs and 2 balls, while England replied with 186 runs in 37 overs and 1 ball, Dawn reports. With this win, Pakistan took a 2-0 lead in the four-match series.
Abdul Qadir's innings
Abdul Qadir scored 146 runs off 100 balls. He reached the 50-run mark after 46 balls and completed his century in 80 balls. His innings included 11 fours and 12 sixes.
After opening batter Usman Khan was dismissed for three runs, Qadir and Ahmed Hussain put together a partnership of more than 100 runs for the fourth wicket. Hayam Khan added 37 runs off 27 balls, while Ahmed Hussain scored 28. After Qadir's dismissal, Pakistan lost three wickets for 46 runs and found themselves at 244-7.

Wicketkeeper-batter Hamza Zahoor helped the team pass the 300-run mark, scoring 55 off 49 balls. He hit seven fours and two sixes.
Pakistan's bowlers
During the chase, England were unable to build momentum. Nikab Shafiq took the wicket of England captain Isaac Mohammed, who scored five runs. Mohammad Sayyam dismissed Harry Wallace and Leo Selvey-Clinton, while Rizwanullah removed Luke Simington and Jack Nelson. At that point, England were 76-5.
Robbie Bowman scored 67 runs off 43 balls, including four fours and seven sixes, but was later dismissed by Sayyam. Sayyam and Rizwanullah took three wickets each, while Ahmed Hussain and Nikab Shafiq claimed two each. The third match of the series is scheduled for Monday in Wormsley.
