Brazilian defender Italo Henrique has joined Zorya
Luhansk's "Zorya," which competes in the Ukrainian Premier League, has officially signed a contract with 24-year-old Brazilian defender Italo Henrique.
The player has already become a member of the Ukrainian club and joined the team.
He previously played for Portugal’s Vizela, for whom he made a total of 71 appearances, scoring six goals and providing five assists.
At the youth level, the Brazilian played for “Figuerense” and “São Bernardo” U20.
According to the Luhansk club’s press service, the newcomer has been assigned the number 40.
Svitolina advanced to the round of 16 at the WTA 1000 in Toronto.
Prior to this, Elina Svitolina advanced to the third round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto. In a tough match, the Ukrainian defeated Spain’s Jessica Buzas Manero 6-7, 7-6, 6-4. The match lasted nearly three hours, and Svitolina clinched the victory after three tense sets.
Earlier, Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina advanced to the quarterfinals of the WTA 500 tournament in Washington. In the round of 16, she defeated Polina Kudermetova, who previously represented Russia and now plays for Uzbekistan. Following this victory, the Ukrainian continues her quest for the title on American courts.
