Coach Jan Urban says Poland lack options in attack — Interia Sport
Poland national team coach Jan Urban said ahead of the Nations League match against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, that the team has limited choices in certain positions. After Robert Lewandowski left the national team camp, the coach said, the squad was left with one striker — Mateusz Żukowski.
Lewandowski will miss the match
Lewandowski received two yellow cards, so he could not play in the next match. As Interia Sport reports, Urban does not see a wide range of options to replace the forward. The coach noted that Karol Świderski plays more as an attacking midfielder, although he can sometimes operate at the tip of the attack.
Urban also said that Żukowski had until recently played in other positions, but began scoring for Magdeburg, so he started to be considered a striker. According to the outlet, Żukowski is expected to play in attack against the Bosnian team.

Problems on the left side of defence
Another problematic position for Poland is the left side of defence. Urban is counting there on right-footed Przemysław Frankowski, who had previously been prepared primarily as a replacement for Matty Cash. According to the outlet, Jakub Kiwior had an unsuccessful 45 minutes in this position in the previous game against Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Tymoteusz Puchacz did not cope in the match against Sweden.
The coach explained that if the team plays with a line of four defenders and Frankowski is healthy, he will start on the left flank. Urban added that he has another option for this position, but did not name the candidate. The Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Poland match is scheduled for Monday in Zenica, with kick-off at 20:45.
