Dynamo lost to PAOK and was eliminated from the Europa League
Kyiv's Dynamo suffered its second defeat at the hands of Greece's PAOK in the second qualifying round of the Europa League and was eliminated from the tournament.
In the second leg in Thessaloniki, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s team lost 0–2, with a brace by Yiannis Konstantelias sealing the victory.

The first half was a closely contested affair without many dangerous chances. In stoppage time, Yiannis Konstantelias capitalized on a defensive error by Dynamo and opened the scoring.
Immediately after the break, the Greek midfielder scored his second goal. In the 48th minute, he cut through the middle, beat several Dynamo defenders, and sealed the final score—2–0—with a precise shot.
After conceding the second goal, Dynamo stepped up their play and created several dangerous chances. Volodymyr Brazhko and Vitaliy Buyalskyi came closest to scoring, but in both instances, the ball hit the goal frame.
Despite their attempts to cut into the deficit, Dynamo was unable to score, and the final whistle sealed PAOK’s victory.
Following their elimination from the Europa League, the Kyiv club will continue to fight for a spot in the main stage of the Conference League.
In the next qualifying round, Dynamo will face the loser of the match between Qarabağ (Azerbaijan) and CSKA Sofia (Bulgaria). A victory in this two-leg series will allow the Kyiv team to advance to the main stage of the tournament.
As a reminder, following an away victory over Romania’s Universitatea, Kyiv’s Dynamo returned to its training camp in Lublin, Poland. The team continues to prepare for a crucial Europa League qualifying match against Greece’s PAOK.
