Spanish national team forward Borja Iglesias called the ticket pricing policy for the 2026 World Cup final a disgrace. The soccer player publicly expressed his outrage over the high cost of tickets for the tournament’s decisive match.
The Celta Vigo forward posted on Instagram with screenshots of ticket prices. The most expensive seats for the 2026 World Cup final range from 9,000 to 50,000 euros. “It’s a disgrace,” Iglesias wrote succinctly.
The Spaniard was a deep substitute at this year’s World Cup. He came off the bench only in the Round of 16 against Portugal (1–0). However, Iglesias spent just one minute on the field.
