Driver Isack Hadjar to return to Red Bull at Azerbaijan Grand Prix — Channel NewsAsia
French driver Isack Hadjar will race for Red Bull alongside Max Verstappen at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku, Azerbaijan, after recovering from a wrist injury. Due to the injury, he missed the previous three rounds of the championship — the Dutch, Italian and Spanish Grands Prix.
Changes to team line-ups
During Hadjar's absence, New Zealander Liam Lawson occupied his seat at Red Bull. He will now return to Racing Bulls. Japanese driver Yuki Tsunoda, who replaced Lawson at Racing Bulls and raced alongside British rookie Arvid Lindblad, will once again serve as reserve driver.
As Channel NewsAsia reports, Red Bull said in a statement that Hadjar had recovered successfully and would return to the Baku track on Thursday. The team also thanked Lawson for his professionalism, commitment and work during the three races in which he replaced the Frenchman.

Baku round schedule
Lawson finished in the points in two of the three races in which he competed for Red Bull. Last year, he began the season as Verstappen's teammate at Red Bull, but after two races of the season he was moved to Racing Bulls.
The first day of practice ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is scheduled for Thursday. The race will take place on Saturday rather than the traditional Sunday due to Memorial Day in Azerbaijan.
