South Africa U20 football coach Raymond Mdaka has urged the team not to underestimate Eswatini ahead of the final Group B match at the COSAFA U20 Youth Championship in Matola, Mozambique. The South African side, known as Amajita, only need a draw in the match scheduled for Wednesday to reach the semi-finals.
Six points after two matches
South Africa lead Group B with six points. On Monday, they defeated Angola 2-0 at ABB Stadium in Matola, having previously beaten Lesotho in the opening match of the tournament. Angola are second in the group with three points.
The group winners and the best team among those finishing second will advance to the semi-finals. The tournament finalists will qualify for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations, which will take place in Ghana next year.

Preparing for Eswatini
As reported by TimesLIVE, Mdaka compared Eswatini to Angola, noting the opponents' physical attributes and players capable of covering a lot of ground. He said the team would prepare for this match in the same way as for the match against Angola.
The coach said Amajita do not underestimate any opponent in the group and praised the players for their tactical play and character in the match against Angola. He noted that the team managed to neutralise Angola's strengths in defence without weakening its own attack.
According to Mdaka, success in football requires not only a game plan but also character and readiness to fight on the pitch. South Africa's match against Eswatini is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday at 12:00 at ABB Stadium.
