Carlos Queiroz to lead Ghana national team again — MyJoyOnline
Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz will continue working as head coach of Ghana’s national football team, known as the “Black Stars”. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) said it had reached an agreement with the specialist on a new coaching mandate.
Previous mandate
As MyJoyOnline reports, Queiroz’s previous mandate ended several weeks ago. It involved working with Ghana’s national team at the recently concluded FIFA World Cup.
According to the GFA, the agreement was reached after negotiations involving the coach, the association and Ghana’s Ministry of Sports and Recreation.

Terms of the new appointment
Queiroz’s new term will begin during the next international window. The GFA did not disclose the duration of the agreement or the specific terms of the new mandate.
The association explained its choice of Queiroz by his extensive international experience, technical knowledge and familiarity with the national team. Details of the coach’s new assignment and the schedule of the Black Stars’ upcoming matches are to be announced later. Queiroz will prepare the team for its next international appearances.
