Kim Min-jae and Hwang Hee-chan did not play in Bayern's match against Schalke
In the German city of Gelsenkirchen, the second-round Bundesliga match between Bayern and Schalke ended in a 0-0 draw. South Korea national team players Kim Min-jae and Hwang Hee-chan did not take the field: Kim remained an unused substitute for the Munich club, while Hwang was not included in Schalke's squad for the game at Veltins-Arena.
Both players missed the match
Kim Min-jae was left out of Bayern's starting lineup for the first time since the beginning of the season. Before that, he had started every official match for the team.
Hwang Hee-chan joined Schalke only four days before the encounter, moving on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers, which plays in the English Championship. The match against Bayern was Schalke's first since the forward's transfer.

Bayern's dominance without goals
According to the Korea Herald, Bayern had possession for 83% of the playing time and recorded five shots on target. Schalke responded with one shot on target, but neither team managed to score.
After two rounds, Bayern have four points from a win and a draw and sit in fourth place. Schalke have one point after a draw and a defeat and are in 14th position.
