Kyiv Dynamo posted record profits and doubled its revenue over the course of the year

The capital city’s football powerhouse demonstrated rapid financial growth, ending 2025 with a net profit of 275.6 million hryvnias.

According to a report published by Delo.ua, the club’s revenue nearly doubled compared to the previous period, reaching 1.83 billion UAH. While Russia continues to destroy Ukraine’s sports infrastructure, the country’s leading club is proving its ability to operate effectively amid the war, turning last year’s losses into a stable operating profit.

The financial renaissance of the Blue-and-Whites was made possible by a dramatic turnaround in operating results: the loss of 381.8 million UAH recorded in 2024 turned into a profit of 476.9 million UAH last year. The main driver of growth was net revenue from the sale of products and services, which allowed the club to achieve positive gross profit figures. These figures are the best for the Kyiv-based club in a long time, especially against the backdrop of the unstable 2022–2024 period, when Dynamo regularly reported significant financial losses.

The main sources of revenue were successful performances on the international stage and transfer activity. The club received over €8.5 million from UEFA for participating in the 2024/25 Europa League, as well as substantial proceeds from the transfer of its homegrown player Illia Zabarnyi from England’s Bournemouth to France’s PSG. Additional stability was provided by commercial revenue from sponsorship contracts, which, according to management, remain a key part of the Ukrainian champion’s current financial model.

Kyiv’s Dynamo confidently defeated Oleksandriya in an away match of the 21st round of the Ukrainian Premier League. Andriy Yarmolenko opened the scoring in the 4th minute. This goal marked his 119th in the championships of independent Ukraine. Only Maksym Shatskikh (124) and Serhiy Rebrov (123) have scored more.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian national soccer team will compete in Group B2 of the 2026/27 Nations League against Hungary, Georgia, and Northern Ireland.
