Former NBA champion Isaiah Ryder has been arrested again in the U.S.

Former NBA basketball player Isaiah Ryder was taken into custody again on July 27 after being arrested in the U.S. state of Arizona. The reason for the arrest was failure to comply with a court order. The former NBA champion will remain in custody at least until Tuesday, July 28.

The 55-year-old Ryder has been arrested more than 30 times over the past 37 years. He was first arrested back in 1989 for theft and assault while he was in college.

During his rookie season in the NBA, Ryder was sentenced to up to 30 days in jail, community service, and anger management classes following an incident in which he shoved a female manager at a sports bar.

Over nine seasons in the NBA, Ryder earned nearly $30 million and played for five teams.

Over his career, he averaged 16.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. In 2001, Ryder won an NBA championship with the Lakers.
