London's Queens Park Rangers drew 2-2 with Preston North End in a Championship match at Loftus Road in London, United Kingdom. QPR played with a man down from the 15th minute but levelled the score in the 90th minute thanks to a goal from Paul Smyth, Sky Sports News reports.
Preston took a two-goal lead
The visitors opened the scoring in the 64th second. Johnny Kenny intercepted the ball from QPR captain Jimmy Dunne following a long pass by Sten Mills, broke through on goal and beat goalkeeper Pierce Charles. In the 15th minute, home defender Dennis Cirkin was shown a red card after a collision with Leo Lleroy.
In the 26th minute, Kenny completed his brace. Mills burst into the penalty area from the right flank, while Ronnie Edwards and Nicolas Madsen, trying to stop him, got in each other's way. Kenny received the ball and sent a low first-time shot into the far corner. These were the first goals for Preston for the Irish forward, who recently joined from Celtic.

QPR levelled the score late on
Despite the sending-off, QPR reduced the deficit in the 66th minute. Kwame Poku, for whom it was his first goal for the club, created space near the edge of the penalty area and sent a low shot past Daniel Iversen.
Late in the match, the teams took turns hitting the woodwork. Callum Lang headed into the upper part of the crossbar after a cross from Andrija Vukčević, while Alfie Lloyd hit Preston's crossbar. In the 90th minute, Smyth sealed the final score with a powerful shot from about 20 yards. In stoppage time, Iversen also saved a shot from Madsen.
Before the match, Preston had suffered six defeats in seven games and were bottom of the Championship. After that run, the club dismissed head coach Paul Heckingbottom, while first-team coach Jason Euell took charge as caretaker against QPR.
