Kulesza says Urban will work until November — Interia Sport
In Poland, Polish Football Association president Cezary Kulesza stated that Jan Urban will remain the head coach of the national team until the November Nations League matches. After the games against Sweden and Romania, a full analysis of the situation will be conducted and further steps will be determined, Interia Sport reports.
Four points in the Nations League
Poland’s team under Urban played four matches in September and October in Nations League Division B and earned four points out of a possible 12. The national team drew 0:0 with Bosnia and Herzegovina and also defeated Romania 6:0.
The team’s results and style of play prompted discussion about the future of the 64-year-old coach. Media outlets also published suggestions about possible candidates for the national team coach’s position — Czesław Michniewicz and Jerzy Brzęczek.

Zbigniew Boniek’s reaction
Former Polish Football Association president Zbigniew Boniek, speaking with Tomasz Włodarczyk, said that wording suggesting Urban would work only until November weakens the coach’s position. According to him, the coach’s contract remains in force for longer and contains no provision for his work to end in November.
Boniek also called suggestions about Michniewicz and Brzęczek media speculation, noting that he had not seen Kulesza’s statements regarding these candidates. Poland’s national team will play its next matches on November 14 and 17: first against Romania and then against Sweden.
