Maguchikh will compete at the European Championships on August 13 and 15
Ukrainian high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh will compete at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, UK.
The women’s high jump qualifying round will take place on August 13 at 12:55 p.m. Kyiv time, and the final is scheduled for August 15 at 10:07 p.m.
In Ukraine, the competition will be broadcast by Suspilne Sport and the Suspilne network of television channels.
Maguchikh is the reigning European champion. She won the continental championship in 2022 and 2024 and will now attempt to win her third consecutive gold medal.
As a reminder, Maksym Babiychuk, the goalkeeper for Kyiv’s “Rebel,” scored a bizarre goal in a Second League match against Cherkasy’s “Karbon.” The goalkeeper scored just 12 seconds into the game.
