Accra to host football talent scouting tournament on September 25–26 — MyJoyOnline
On September 25–26, Accra, Ghana, will host the Global Game Scouting Tournament, a football tournament where players will be able to showcase their skills to scouts and representatives of professional football. The competition will take place at the McDan Sports Complex in the Labadi area.
Participants and evaluation
The tournament is being held in partnership with ExcelsiorPro. Scouts, representatives of professional clubs, football academies and agencies looking for promising players are expected to attend, MyJoyOnline reports.
According to the organizers, footballers will be assessed not only on their technical qualities, but also on their tactical understanding of the game, physical attributes, attitude and overall potential. The best participants may receive recommendations for trials at professional clubs and other opportunities.
