Ukraine's U-21 national team defeated Hungary in the Euro 2027 qualifiers

Ukraine's U-21 national soccer team secured its second victory in the 2027 European Championship qualifiers by defeating Hungary.

The match ended with a score of 2-1 in favor of Ukraine.

Oleksandr Pyshchur scored the first goal in the 26th minute following a cross from Illia Krupskyi. In the second half, in the 69th minute, Hennadiy Synchuk doubled the lead with a precise shot from outside the penalty area.

The Hungarian national team managed to cut the deficit only in stoppage time, but could not avoid defeat.

After six rounds, Ukraine has 8 points and continues to fight for a spot in Euro 2027.
