Polissya narrowly defeated Livyi Bereg and returned to the top of the UPL
"Polissya" defeated "Livyi Bereg" in a home game during the 6th round of the 2026/27 UPL season. The match in Zhytomyr ended with a score of 1–0.
The only goal of the match came in the 37th minute. “Livyi Bereg” midfielder Serhiy Kosovskyi deflected the ball into his own net, and this own goal proved to be the decisive one.
Thanks to the three points, Ruslan Rotan’s team now has 15 points and has once again taken the lead in the Ukrainian Premier League standings.
After six rounds, “Livyi Bereg” has only four points and is in 12th place.
In the next round, “Polissya” will play at home against “Kryvbas” on September 18. “Livy Bereg” will face “Epicenter” on the road on September 19.
