Russian archers will miss the World Cup stage in Spain due to visa issues
Russian athletes will not participate in the Archery World Cup stage in Madrid. This is due to difficulties in obtaining Schengen visas.
Zorigto Manhanov, president of the Russian Archery Federation, announced this to Russian media. According to him, the Russian team was unable to obtain entry documents and will therefore miss the international competition in Spain.
“Our athletes will not be able to travel to the World Cup stage in Madrid due to problems that arose with obtaining Schengen entry visas,” Manhanov said.
According to initial plans, 13 athletes and six coaches were to represent Russia at the tournament.
