Shakhtar scored three goals against Kryvbas in a friendly match

Donetsk's "Shakhtar" defeated "Kryvbas" in a friendly match. The match ended with a 3–0 victory for the Donetsk team.

The teams’ head coaches—Arda Turan and Patrick van Leeuwen—fielded players who had not been called up to their national teams for the friendly. In particular, the Ukrainian champions fielded their summer signing, Maturro. However, other players emerged as the heroes for the “Miners.”

Alisson opened the scoring. The winger received a pass from Pedrinho on the penalty line—Pedrinho had carried the ball from the center circle—and fired a superb shot under the crossbar. Just before halftime, Kryvyi Rih’s Pidgurskyi and Khoma set up an own goal. And in the second half, Obach capitalized on a chance following a pass from deep.

Both teams are preparing for the resumption of the Premier League season. In the upcoming round, on October 9, Shakhtar will face Veres from Rivne. Meanwhile, Kryvbas will take on Obolon from Kyiv on October 10.
