Swedish forward Ibrahimović was named Expert of the Month at the 2026 World Cup
Legendary Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimović continues to successfully adapt to his new role as a soccer analyst during the 2026 World Cup.
He is currently working as an analyst in the studio of the American television network Fox Sports and has already been named Employee of the Month.
Ibrahimović was presented with the award during halftime or while the Panama–Croatia match (0–1) was being broadcast. The former soccer player reacted with his characteristic irony.
“And that’s after just one week on the job. Imagine what it’ll be like at the end of the 2026 World Cup?”
In the studio, Zlatan also couldn’t resist joking with his colleague, former U.S. national team player Alexi Lalas: “Alexi, give it a try—I don’t think you’ve ever had anything like this.”
His on-air appearances add a showman’s touch to the studio segment and draw extra attention to the tournament’s analytical broadcasts.
