It has been announced where to watch the 2026 World Cup matches between the Netherlands and Sweden, and Germany and Ivory Coast

Today, the second round of the group stage continues at the 2026 World Cup, with the Netherlands vs. Sweden and Germany vs. Ivory Coast matches set to be the highlights of the day. These matches could determine the first teams to advance to the knockout stage in Groups E and F.

In Group F, the Netherlands, led by Ronald Koeman, is looking to bounce back after letting a win slip away in the opening round against Japan (2–2). Virgil van Dijk and Chrisensio Summerville scored in that game, but the team lost Quinten Timber to injury.

Their opponent will be the Swedish national team, which enters the match as the group leader after a convincing 5–1 victory over Tunisia. Alexander Isak and Viktor Djokeres remain key players for the team, along with Yassin Ayari, who scored twice in the first round.

The two teams have faced each other 25 times in history, but have met only once at the World Cup—in 1974, when they played to a 0–0 draw.

The match will take place on June 20 at 8:00 p.m. Kyiv time in Houston at the NRG Stadium.

In Group E, the German national team, led by Julian Nagelsmann, kicked off the tournament with a crushing 7–1 victory over Curaçao. Kai Havertz scored twice in that game, while Felix Nmecha, Nico Schlotterbeck, Jamal Musiala, Laurin Brown, and Deniz Undav also found the back of the net.

The Ivory Coast national team started with a narrow 1–0 victory over Ecuador, with Amad Diallo scoring the decisive goal.

The history of head-to-head matches between these teams is limited to a 2009 friendly, which ended in a 2–2 draw.
