Svitolina remains the world No. 8, while Oliynikova enters the top 50 for the first time
The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has officially updated its international rankings as of June 22.
Ukraine’s top-ranked player, Elina Svitolina, remains firmly in the top ten of this prestigious list, currently holding the high 8th spot among the world’s best female tennis players.
This was reported by Ukrinform. Other Ukrainian players have also shown notable changes in the world rankings, experiencing both significant rises and some drops.
Marta Kostyuk is currently ranked 13th (—1), while Oleksandra Oliinykova has climbed to 49th place (+2) for the first time in her career.
The following results for our female tennis players were recorded in the second half of the world rankings. Yulia Starodubtseva took 55th place (+4), while Dayana Yastremska dropped 16 spots at once and fell to 66th place.
Also in the top 100 are Ukrainians Angelina Kalinina—70th (+1)—and Daria Snigur—78th (–3).
