The Ukrainian Premier League has named the best coach of last season
The Ukrainian Premier League has officially announced the results of the vote for the title of best coach in the top division for the 2025/26 season.
The winner of this prestigious award is 39-year-old Turkish coach Arda Turan, who leads Donetsk’s Shakhtar.
According to the results of the traditional survey of club representatives, the “Miners” manager received the most votes from his peers in the league.
Second place in the final ranking went to Vitaliy Ponomaryov, head coach of Cherkasy’s “LNZ.”
Rounding out the top three was Ruslan Rotan, coach of Zhytomyr’s Polissya, whose team also posted strong results.
It should be noted that Arda Turan took the helm of the Donetsk team last summer. During his debut season, the foreign coach led Shakhtar to the Ukrainian championship title and guided the club to the Conference League semifinals.
