During his visit to the U.S., Oleksandr Usyk met with UFC President Dana White and WWE Executive Vice President Nick Khan, sharing photos and his impressions on social media. The Ukrainian champion described the meeting as a pleasure and emphasized his respect for the people who shape the modern world of combat sports.

Oleksandr Usyk continues his active visit to the United States, where he is not only participating in sporting and public events but also meeting with key figures in global sports and the martial arts industry. One such event was his meeting with UFC President Dana White and WWE Executive Vice President Nick Khan.

The Ukrainian champion shared details of the meeting on his social media accounts, posting a photo and a brief comment in which he emphasized his respect for his counterparts. “It was simply a pleasure to meet with Dana White and Nick Khan—two people who continue to shape the future of martial arts and sports entertainment. Respect,” Usyk wrote.

Connections in the UFC and Boxing Worlds

Dana White is a key figure in the development of the UFC and is also involved in projects for the new boxing promotion, Zuffa Boxing. Several Ukrainian boxers are already competing in this project, including Oleksandr Gvozdyk, Serhiy Bohachuk, Serhiy Derevyanchenko, and Vladyslav Sirenko, which underscores the gradual integration of Ukrainian athletes into international combat sports organizations.

Usyk’s meeting with such influential officials only reinforces his status as one of the most prominent figures in world boxing, who is actively present not only in the ring but also in the global sports community.

Context of the U.S. Visit

During his stay in the U.S., Usyk also met with U.S. President Donald Trump. Their conversation took place in the Oval Office, though the details of their discussion were not made public.

All that is known is that the Ukrainian boxer presented the president with a symbolic gift—a frame containing a signed glove and a photo—which became yet another highlight of his eventful visit to the U.S., where sports and diplomacy are effectively intertwined in the same media landscape.
