Tyson Fury earned his second victory in six months
British heavyweight Tyson Fury defeated Poland's Mariusz Wach in a bout held in Thailand. The fight ended after the seventh round, when Wach asked his corner to stop the fight.
Fury controlled the pace of the fight from the very beginning, but fans were disappointed by the lack of a knockout and booed the British boxer. After the fight, he stated that a similar outcome would have occurred had he faced Anthony Joshua.
This is Fury’s second victory in the last six months. Overall, the 38-year-old boxer has fought 39 professional bouts, with 36 wins, one draw, and two losses—both to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury stated that he intends to regain his status as the world heavyweight champion, and his main goal remains a fight against Anthony Joshua.
