Kayaker Ivanna Dyachenko added another medal to the blue-and-yellow team’s collection, finishing among the top three in her discipline. She won the bronze medal in the women’s single kayak 200-meter race.
The Ukrainian clocked a time of 43.21 seconds, finishing 0.24 seconds behind the race winner, China’s Yin Mengdi. A fierce battle unfolded on the home stretch, where the fate of the medals was decided in a matter of seconds.
