Video: Oleksandr Khizhnyak Knocks Out the Undefeated Frenchman
Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Khizhnyak scored his second victory in the professional ring. On July 25 in Jeddah, as part of the undercard for the Anthony Joshua vs. Prenga fight, the “Poltava Tank” knocked out the previously undefeated Frenchman Lenny Patrache in the second round.
From the very first seconds, Oleksandr took control of the fight and began to wear down his opponent with a flurry of short punches. Patrache tried to counterattack, but Khizhnyak skillfully dodged his opponent’s jabs.
Eventually, in the second round, the Frenchman took a powerful punch from the Ukrainian and went down for a knockdown. The referee allowed Patrache to continue the fight, but just a few seconds later, Lenny found himself back on the canvas after another attack by Khizhnyak, which ended in a knockout.
Thus, Khyzniak secured his second victory in the professional ring. In March, Khyzniak defeated Wilmer Baron of Colombia.

It’s worth noting that Oleksandr Usyk was in the stands cheering for Khyzniak.
Earlier, Usyk confirmed that Lomachenko is preparing to return to the ring.
Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk has likely already decided on his final opponent in his professional career. According to The Ring, the Ukrainian’s team is in active negotiations for a fight against former world champion Deontay Wilder.
Oleksandr Usyk no longer tops the list of the world’s best boxers across all weight classes. The top spot in The Independent’s prestigious rankings is now held by Japanese champion Naoya Inoue. The Ukrainian, who for a long time was the world’s top boxer following his victories in the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, has dropped to second place.
