Ghana U-20 team to play France for first-ever playoff spot
Ghana’s women’s U-20 national team will play a decisive Group C match at the FIFA U-20 World Cup against France. A victory would guarantee the team, known as the Black Princesses, its first-ever place in the tournament’s playoffs.
Before the final group-stage match, Ghana have three points from two games. The match against France will take place at Arena Sosnowiec and kick off at 16:00 Greenwich Mean Time, MyJoyOnline reports.
Team preparation
Ghana head coach Charles Sampson said the players responded well to training and are ready for the decisive meeting. According to him, the final session was devoted to tactics, and the team is accustomed to preparing for pressure.

Sampson stressed that his players must take to the field and put their preparation into practice. He expressed hope that the match would be successful for the Ghanaian team.
Assessment of France
The coach believes that the French team is close to his side in terms of technical level. At the same time, Sampson assessed that France use a low or medium defensive block to encourage their opponents to move forward and create space behind their defense.
The Ghana coach noted that the Black Princesses will try to use their advantages in physical duels, speed and technique. The team’s expectation, he said, is to control the game and win.
