Corridor raises $25 million in seed funding — TechCrunch
Startup Corridor, which is developing an AI-powered brokerage service for health insurance plans for small businesses, has raised $25 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures, TechCrunch reports.
A service for small businesses
Corridor targets small companies that, according to the startup, are often left out of traditional brokers’ priorities. The company explains this by saying that such clients generate lower commissions, while servicing small and large accounts requires the same amount of time.
On the Corridor platform, clients work with advisers, while AI agents handle administrative tasks in the background. According to the company, the agents can check whether a doctor is in a client’s insurance network, help schedule medical care, and provide doctors with up-to-date insurance information.

Founders and investors
Before founding Corridor, Jackson Wagner worked as head of product at Scale AI. After suffering a running injury and encountering problems arranging treatment, he left the company, earned a master’s degree in computer science and electrical engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, and joined Build Robotics in 2023.
Later, Wagner worked with former Scale AI colleague Eric Qian on Capernaum AI, a startup that was developing a clinical agent to assist with musculoskeletal issues and chronic pain. They later approached Cold Start about funding the project. Cold Start partners Nikhil Aggarwal and Jason Dong saw a broader opportunity, after which the four launched Corridor.
Other investors in the round include BoxGroup and executives from OpenAI, Scale AI, and Ramp. Corridor is preparing for the fourth quarter, as, according to CEO Nikhil Aggarwal, about 80% of small businesses choose a health insurance plan during this period.
