DeepSeek has posted job openings for its data center team
DeepSeek, a Chinese artificial intelligence company, has announced a new round of full-time hiring for its IDC data center team. The job openings cover data center infrastructure operations, planning and design, as well as on-site implementation, according to ECNS.
Professionals with a degree in civil engineering are eligible to apply for some of the positions. For engineering and design roles, the company also listed degrees in electrical engineering, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and environmental engineering as suitable.

DeepSeek stated that the team is building the core infrastructure to support future AI agents. In such facilities, power supply, cooling, networking, and computing systems must be tightly integrated, which, according to the company, directly impacts the performance and efficiency of computing resources.
The company also announced its intention to explore the physical and engineering limits of data center systems, focusing on efficiency, reliability, automation, and the resilience of their operations.
