Ferrari has unveiled its first all-electric car, called the Ferrari Luce. Former Apple designer Jony Ive also worked on the project alongside the LoveFrom studio.
The electric car features a sleek, minimalist design with an emphasis on aerodynamics and integrated digital control systems. According to the manufacturer’s vision, the body and interior are designed as a single concept that combines style and technology.
The car features all-wheel drive, four doors, and a five-seat layout, making it one of the most spacious Ferraris. The model measures 5,019 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,544 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,961 mm. The trunk capacity is 597 liters.
A 122 kWh battery provides a range of up to 530 km. However, the company emphasizes that the primary focus is not on range, but on dynamics and handling.
The Ferrari Luce delivers 1,050 hp, accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, and has a top speed of 310 km/h. The model starts at 550,000 euros, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of the year.
Thus, the Italian manufacturer continues to develop its electric vehicle lineup, even despite a general slowdown in demand in the sports electric car segment.
Earlier, the Chinese company BYD unveiled the new Denza Z electric car, which it positions as a competitor to the Porsche 911. The model’s debut is expected this summer, and Daniel Craig, known for his role as James Bond, has become its brand ambassador.
