Insta360 unveils Luna Pro with 4K vertical video support
Insta360 has unveiled the compact Luna Pro camera with a stabilizer, which supports recording 4K vertical video at 30 frames per second. As The Verge reports, the model has a single lens, a detachable 2-inch touchscreen display, and competes with the DJI Osmo Pocket.
One lens instead of two
The Luna Pro uses the same 1-inch-type 8K sensor as the main camera of the previous Luna Ultra model. The new version does not have a telephoto lens, making the device slightly smaller and lighter.
The Luna Pro's detachable screen can function as a remote control. The camera also offers battery life of up to four hours and an NFC tag designed for faster file transfers.

4K vertical shooting
The Luna Pro's main difference is its ability to record 4K vertical video at 30 frames per second. The Luna Ultra, as well as the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 and 4P models, are limited to 3K resolution when shooting in portrait orientation. According to The Verge, support for 4K30 in vertical format may be useful for social media content creators.
The publication also notes that the Luna Pro is available for purchase in the United States, unlike the DJI Osmo Pocket 4.
