Nintendo cuts prices on Switch games and accessories in the US — The Verge
Nintendo has launched its Customer Appreciation Sale in the United States, offering discounts on games and accessories for Switch consoles. The promotion is available at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and Nintendo’s digital store and will end on September 26 at 8:59 p.m. Pacific Time. As The Verge reports, the company is holding the sale after receiving tariff-related refunds from the US government.
Discounts on popular games
The offers include the digital version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe together with the Booster Course Pass expansion, priced at just under $60. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is being sold for $49, while Animal Crossing: New Horizons with downloadable content costs $60 in Nintendo’s digital store.
Physical editions of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Super Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 3 are available for $42 instead of $60, a 30% discount. The digital version of Kirby and the Forgotten Land can be purchased for the same price. The physical edition of Tears of the Kingdom is offered at some stores for $49 instead of $70.

Accessories and upgrades for Switch 2
Among the accessories, Nintendo reduced the price of the Alarmo alarm clock from $100 to $77 and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller from $70 to $56. Switch 2 Editions of games have not become cheaper as part of this promotion. At the same time, upgrade packs to Switch 2 versions are available for $9.99 for Tears of the Kingdom and $4.99 for Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for Nintendo Switch costs $42 during the sale, while the Switch 2 version of the game is selling on Amazon for $51. Nintendo has also created a separate page with the full list of discounted items.
