Approximately 8.5 minutes after launch, the reusable first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket successfully performed a vertical landing on the company’s unmanned offshore platform in the Pacific Ocean. For SpaceX, this launch marked its 79th mission since the beginning of 2026, with nearly 80% of all launches this year dedicated to the deployment of the global Starlink internet satellite network.
