iPhone 18 sales start in the US, iPhone Duo to be released later — CNBC
Sales of iPhone 18 models began on September 18 at Apple’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York, US. Jim Cramer, who visited the store early in the morning, reported a significant number of visitors, but no people who had spent the night waiting in line outside the entrance.

According to CNBC, Cramer bought an iPhone 18 because of its longer battery life and improved camera. He also said that he plans to upgrade to the foldable iPhone Duo.

Pre-orders for the iPhone Duo are expected to open on October 16, and the device will become available a week after that. Cramer suggested that the lack of large lines on the first day of iPhone 18 sales may be due to the fact that the foldable model is not yet available for pre-order.
Conversation with Apple’s head
At the store, Cramer spoke with Apple’s new CEO, John Ternus. He asked whether the company would have enough iPhone Duo devices after sales begin. Ternus replied that he believes this is possible. At the same time, Cramer expects that it will be difficult to buy an iPhone Duo immediately after its release.
