147,000 families are already receiving increased child benefits — Svyrydenko
Since the beginning of 2026, 147,000 Ukrainian families have been receiving increased child care benefits, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported.
The monthly payment amounts to 7,000 UAH during the child’s first year of life, and 10,500 UAH for families raising a child with a disability.
Also:
▪️ 10,000 families have taken advantage of the “eYasla” program;
▪️ 32,000 mothers have received pregnancy and childbirth benefits—7,000 UAH per month;
▪️ 51,000 Ukrainian women have already received the increased one-time childbirth benefit of 50,000 UAH.

Kyiv is introducing a new assistance program for residents whose homes have been destroyed or seriously damaged as a result of Russian attacks. People are promised a one-time payment of 40,000 hryvnias for rent and subsequent monthly compensation if the restoration of their homes is delayed.
Following inspections in May, the two largest payment terminal networks—EasyPay (FC “Kontraktovy Dom” LLC) and City24 (Swift Garant LLC)—were hit with massive fines: 135 million hryvnias each.
