State Emergency Service bomb disposal experts recovered an unexploded aerial bomb from a private yard in Kharkiv

In Kharkiv, specialists from Ukraine’s State Emergency Service successfully recovered a Russian guided aerial bomb (KAB) that had fallen on the grounds of a private residence following yet another round of enemy shelling and had failed to detonate.

The day before, occupying forces had launched guided aerial bomb strikes on the Kholodnohirskyi district of the city. One of the strikes had tragic consequences—a young woman was killed, and 12 other local residents sustained injuries of varying severity. Another shell struck a private yard, where it became deeply embedded in the ground without exploding.

Explosive ordnance disposal experts from the Interregional Center for Humanitarian Demining and Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service conducted a delicate operation to dig up and safely remove the munition, after which they transported it to a special testing ground for further controlled disposal. Rescue workers once again urged citizens to be as vigilant as possible and, if they discover any suspicious or potentially explosive objects, under no circumstances to approach them, touch them, or immediately call emergency services.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Authorities in Zaporizhzhia have reported a new type of attack in which Russian “Shahed” drones allegedly deliver FPV drones directly to the city center and drop them on civilian targets. Officials report a change in the enemy’s tactics and an increased threat to the city.

Following inspections in May, the two largest payment terminal networks—EasyPay (LLC “FC ‘Kontraktovy Dom’”) and City24 (LLC “Swift Garant”)—were hit with massive fines: 135 million hryvnias each.
