In Uzhhorod, a man fell from a window of the TCK building; he was hospitalized

On July 8 in Uzhhorod, a man fell from a third-floor window of the District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support building. After the fall, he was taken to the hospital.

Law enforcement officers and medical personnel were on the scene. The police are investigating all the circumstances of the incident and determining the exact cause of the man’s fall from the window of the Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support building.

According to the National Police in Zakarpattia Oblast, law enforcement was called by a passerby who happened to be on the street next to the Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support building and witnessed the moment the man fell from a great height.

Around noon today, the police received a call from a passerby who witnessed a man falling from the third floor of the RTCC building in Uzhhorod. Currently, an investigative team has arrived at the scene and is working there,” the police reported. 

The man was hospitalized

  • An ambulance crew arrived at the scene of the incident. Doctors diagnosed the victim with severe injuries typical of a fall from a height. Medical staff at a hospital in Uzhhorod are currently fighting to save his life.

The management of the Transcarpathian Regional Social Services Center is currently refraining from disclosing details regarding the man’s status at the center and has not commented on the situation. 

This was confirmed to “Ukrinform” by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zakarpattia Oblast.
