The weather in Ukraine on September 9 will be sunny and warm. In some regions, temperatures may rise to +32 degrees, creating almost summer-like conditions.
However, the warm weather won’t last long—cool air will soon return to Ukraine.
Weather Highlights in Ukraine on September 9
An expert explained that the weather across all of Ukraine is currently influenced by an anticyclone, or an area of high atmospheric pressure.
According to Didenko, the same conditions will persist throughout tomorrow—Wednesday, September 9.
“That is why everywhere—from west to east, from north to south—no rain is expected in any region of Ukraine,” the meteorologist explained.
So, tomorrow’s weather will be:
sunny;
mostly clear.
What to expect regarding temperatures in different regions
According to Didenko, the air temperature tomorrow "will rise by a few more degrees."
At the same time, she says it may be warmest in the western regions—around +27...+32°C.
In most regions (i.e., on average across Ukraine), the air temperature will be approximately +24...+27°C.
Meanwhile, it will be slightly cooler in the eastern regions—up to +21…+23°C.
What to Expect for Residents and Visitors to Kyiv
The meteorologist reported that the weather in Kyiv tomorrow is expected to be:
dry;
clear;
sunny;
warm.
According to Didenko, daytime temperatures in the capital will reach +25...+27°C.
She also noted that the city is currently shrouded in smoke and smog from fires—the result of yet another enemy attack (on the night of September 8).
“An anticyclone is characterized by calm or light winds, so for now, the smoke will not disperse significantly,” the meteorologist warned.
How the weather situation will change later
Didenko reported that as early as Thursday, September 10, gusts of westerly and southwesterly winds in the capital will reach 10–14 meters per second.
“These are strong winds, so the smog situation will improve,” she explained.
Overall, over the next few days (September 9–10), according to the meteorologist, “summer weather” will prevail in Ukraine, as air temperatures will range from +25 to +32°C.
“The air will become cooler going forward,” the specialist said.
At the same time, she noted that “it’s still a long way off until the real cold sets in.”
