Actor Fedir Gurinets spoke about his three unsuccessful attempts to enlist

Fedir Gurynets, a star of Ukrainian TV series, shared his story about trying to join the ranks of the defenders after the full-scale invasion began.

The actor admitted that he applied three times to the regional recruitment center, but for a long time received no response from government agencies.

From the very start of the war, the actor actively sought ways to be of service to his country.

In an interview with Alina Dorotyuk, he

“I sent my resume everywhere online, and no one called me. I wonder, am I invisible?” the actor recalled his first attempts to get in touch with official authorities.

He received his first call from the TCC only after the Kyiv region was liberated from Russian invaders.

Later, after moving to a new residence in the capital, Gurinets tried to go in person to the recruitment center to update his information.

However, according to the actor, he was simply not allowed inside the building, despite the legal requirement to report a change of address.

He made his next attempt together with his older brother, who was already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine at that time.

But even the presence of his military relative did not help the actor get an appointment with the officials at the regional center.

Fedir also said that he had compiled his own list of skills that could be useful to the army or intelligence services.

He even imagined a scenario in which his acting talent could help eliminate the leader of the aggressor country during a potential “meeting” in the Kremlin.

“I understand that I can’t be useful with a weapon. I don’t know how to shoot; it’s not my thing. But I have a very analytical mind and a good memory,” Gurinets explained his position, emphasizing his desire to serve intellectually.

Only a year after the first summons, representatives of the TCC called the actor again and asked why he was ignoring the summons.

This surprised the actor, who had been trying to contact them on his own the entire time.

As a reminder, Ukrainian actor Vasyl Skromny, known for his role as the red-haired hooligan Makar Gusev in the 1979 cult children’s film *The Adventures of Electronics*, passed away in Odesa at the age of 62.

Director Oleksiy Komarovsky also presented the trailer for the comedy “When Will You Get Divorced?”
