The base of a Norwegian humanitarian organization in Ukraine was damaged in an attack by Russia
The base of the Norwegian humanitarian organization Norwegian People’s Aid in Ukraine, which is engaged in demining operations, was damaged as a result of a Russian attack.
This was reported by NRK.
According to the organization’s Secretary General, Raymond Johansen, none of the staff were injured in the strike, but vehicles and equipment sustained significant damage.
“This shows that Russia does not care whether the targets are civilians or whether this involves vital work to protect civilian lives,” Johansen said.
Norwegian People’s Aid emphasized that humanitarian activities should not be targeted and assured that they are continuing to work on resuming operations and conducting demining throughout Ukraine.
