Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi has banned the public use of Russian-language content
The City Council of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi has adopted an official resolution imposing a moratorium on the public use of Russian-language cultural products.
The Secretariat of the Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language announced this step, emphasizing the importance of protecting the national space.
The main goal of this initiative is to create a reliable barrier for the Ukrainian information space against hybrid influences from the aggressor state.
The restrictions apply to any content formats created or distributed in Russian within the community.
The text of the city council’s decision clearly states: “In order to protect the Ukrainian information space from the hybrid influences of the aggressor state, a moratorium is being imposed on the public use of Russian-language cultural products created and/or used in any format on the territory of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi municipal community.”
As a reminder, the Ukrainian language has strengthened its position on YouTube and TikTok.
The Ukrainian language is also preparing for the next phase of updates.
