BlueBird Tech Begins Production of Low-Cost Missiles for Air Defense

The Ukrainian technology company BlueBird Tech has announced the launch of production of missiles for air defense systems capable of intercepting enemy UAVs, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. The company’s proprietary designs are intended to make the interception of aerial targets more cost-effective compared to foreign counterparts. 

This is stated in a press release from BlueBird Tech.

Company co-founder Valery Zarubin noted that the key objective is to create mass-produced and cost-effective means of air defense. Currently, the company is already bringing in specialized engineers and has begun hiring experts. In addition to air defense systems, BlueBird Tech plans to produce other missile solutions, the details of which are not being disclosed for security reasons.

Ukraine is expected to see the results of this initiative in the coming years. The company has been operating since 2023 and brings together over 350 specialists who develop electronic warfare systems, drone detection systems, communication systems, and strike FPV solutions to counter Russian aggression. Expanding into the missile sector will mark a new stage in the development of the company’s defense technologies.
