A court found a member of the Duboviazivka Town Council guilty of misreporting assets totaling more than 15.2 million hryvnias. The official was fined 69,700 hryvnias and barred from holding public office for one year for concealing a luxury car, real estate, and cash.

Also missing from the document were his wife’s Porsche Cayenne worth 2.8 million hryvnias, bank accounts totaling 260,000 hryvnias, and a land plot measuring over 36,000 square meters. The guilty verdict is based on materials from an investigation by the Sumy Regional Police, which was launched following a comprehensive audit of the official’s assets. The court’s decision has now taken legal effect, confirming the fact of the intentional inclusion of false information in state registries.
