The SAPO has stated that there is a risk of Yermak fleeing the country and that he possesses four diplomatic passports

During a hearing at the High Anti-Corruption Court, a prosecutor from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office stated that there is a risk that Andriy Yermak, the former head of the Office of the President, may be evading the investigation.

This came to light during a court hearing on the selection of a preventive measure for him.

According to the prosecutor, Yermak has professional and social ties within government agencies as well as abroad, which, in the prosecution’s view, could facilitate a potential flight.

The SAPO also stated that Yermak holds four diplomatic passports, one of which is valid until 2030. According to the investigation, from the start of the full-scale invasion until November 2025, he crossed the state border 86 times.

In addition, the prosecutor reported that Yermak was allegedly mentioned in correspondence between the defendants in the case regarding the construction of the “Dynasty” cottage community.

The prosecutor has now begun speaking in the courtroom, presenting the prosecution’s position regarding the risks of the suspect absconding and influencing witnesses. The investigation insists on detention with a probable bail of 180 million hryvnias, given the scale of financial transactions in the “Dynasty” cottage community. The judge continues to review procedural issues and is setting a schedule for further hearings.

Former Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak links the charges brought against him to “public pressure on law enforcement agencies” to adopt specific procedural decisions regarding him.
