Rain and thunderstorms are expected to affect most regions of Ukraine on May 20

Unstable summer-like weather is forecast for Ukraine on Wednesday, with precipitation of varying intensity expected across nearly the entire country. 

This is reported by the UNIAN Weather portal. The influence of atmospheric fronts will bring short-lived rains and thunderstorms, while heavy downpours are expected in the central and southern regions, which in some places will be accompanied by squalls and hail.

Despite the rainy weather, temperatures in most regions will remain fairly high, ranging between 22 and 25 degrees Celsius. The coolest weather is expected in the western part of the country, where temperatures will be around 21 degrees. In contrast, residents of the eastern and northeastern regions are forecast to experience the warmest temperatures, which will reach up to 28 degrees in some places.

Forecasters warn of the need to be aware of possible localized street flooding in populated areas during heavy downpours. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to be cautious during deteriorating weather conditions and to watch out for gusty winds. Experts do not yet forecast a stable end to precipitation or a return to dry, sunny weather in the coming days.
