After Fedorov's resignation, his wife called for respect for the family's privacy
Anastasia, the wife of former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, has publicly commented for the first time on her husband’s resignation, stating that her family is doing well and calling for respect for their privacy.
According to Anastasia Fedorova, after her husband’s dismissal, a large number of people began following her page, but she has no intention of commenting on political events or sharing inside information.
“Lately, a lot of people have been coming here because of Mykhailo. I understand everything perfectly—even better than you think. I deeply value my personal boundaries—both my own and my child’s. My support stems from eight very difficult years of my life, a vast number of personal decisions, responsibilities, and experiences that will remain outside this information space. Believe me, there’s more political context in my reality than in all your Threads feeds combined,” she wrote.

Fedorova also emphasized that her blog is not a platform for political commentary or insider information.
“This page isn’t for writing about the first lady, nor is it a political broadcast. If you’ve subscribed in search of political insider information or direct channels for information—don’t waste your time. You won’t find that here. Thank you for your respect,” she noted.
She wrote about this on Instagram.
As a reminder, Ukrainian artists, athletes, and public figures expressed their support for former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov following his resignation. Some of them joined protests in Kyiv and Lviv, while others published statements on social media.
