Elizarov submitted his resignation in protest against Fedorov's removal
Pavlo Yelizarov, Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, announced that he had submitted his resignation.
He announced this on his Facebook page.
“Unfortunately, in the fifth year of the war, I have written a letter of resignation from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I believe that the removal of M. Fedorov is a great blow to the country’s defense capabilities. Glory to Ukraine!” his post reads.

As a reminder, Mykhailo Fedorov, while summarizing his work as defense minister, reported that a successful test of a Ukrainian ballistic missile took place on July 14.
Following his decision to resign, Mykhailo Fedorov published his first statement, in which he summarized his work and identified the tasks that had not been fully accomplished.
Ukrainian MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak has revealed the likely composition of the new Cabinet of Ministers, which may be headed by Serhiy Koretskyi. At the same time, a final decision on some of the candidates has not yet been made, particularly regarding Fedorov.
