Yermak stated that he has nothing to do with fortune-tellers
Andriy Yermak, the former head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, stated that he knows women named Veronika, but, according to him, he has never had any dealings with fortune-tellers.
He made this statement while answering a question about whether he knew the astrology consultant Veronika Anikievich, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
"I know a few Veronikas, I don’t remember their last names... I have a lot of acquaintances. And I definitely haven’t communicated with fortune-tellers. And I’ve never had any voodoo dolls or whatever they wrote about...," he said.
When asked if he had heard of the surname Anikievich or if it sounded familiar to him, Yermak stated that it sounded somewhat familiar.

"But honestly—there are a lot of people (whom I know—ed.), and for me to be able to tell you that this is my friend, acquaintance, and so on... There are Veronikas among my acquaintances, there are all kinds of people, there are so many of them. But this definitely has nothing to do with my duties when I was head of the Office," the former head of the Presidential Office said.
The investigation insists on keeping Yermak in custody with a probable bail of 180 million hryvnias, given the scale of financial transactions in the “Dynasty” cottage community. The judge continues to review procedural issues and is setting a schedule for further hearings.
Former Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak stated on the evening of May 11, after receiving a notice of suspicion from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, that he would not comment on anything during the investigation.
The European Commission commented on the Yermak case.
