The Cabinet of Ministers has suspended Smaly, the head of the State Forestry Agency
The Cabinet of Ministers has opened disciplinary proceedings against Viktor Smal, head of the State Forest Resources Agency, and has temporarily suspended him from his duties. The government adopted the relevant decisions at its meeting.
The Commission on Senior Civil Service Matters is to conduct the proceedings by August 8 and inform the government of the results. For the duration of the disciplinary proceedings, Smal has been suspended from his official duties.
The duties of the head of the State Forestry Agency have been temporarily assigned to First Deputy Head Volodymyr Buchko. The texts of the government orders do not specify the grounds or details of the disciplinary proceedings.
